How does the HandySitt™ work?

The HandySitt™ hooks onto the back of most chairs. Just adjust the handles to bring the seat down parallel to the seat of the chair you are installing it on, then tether it with the safety harness underneath the chair and you are ready to use it. Will install in under a minute in most cases.

What size chairs will my HandySitt™ fit on?

The HandySitt™ will fit on chair backs from 12 inches to 17¾ inches high with a minimum width of 14 inches for a square backed chair and 16 inches for a round backed chair and a chair back thickness of no more than 1½ inches.

How long has the HandySitt™ been around?

New to America, the HandySitt™ has been a favorite in Europe and other countries since 1989.

How old should my child be to use the HandySitt™?

The manufacturer specifies the chair can be used from as early as 7 months to as long as 4½ years. However, we it is not recommended the chair be used until your child has full upper body control and muscle tone.
